BENJAMIN Y. HAFER
Benjamin Y. HAFER, died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter Mr and Mrs Richard ZERBY, 1361 Locust street, aged 80 years. He was a son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Yerger) HAFER. Death followed a long illness. He was a former resident of Center township, but moved to this city four years ago. He was a member of the Reformed denomination of Belleman's Chuch, Center township. His wife, Mary (KERSCHNER), preceded him in death. Surviving are four children, William C., Hyde Park, Charles H., Hyde Park, Dora, wife of Richard ZEWRBY, at whose home he died, and Miss Ruth HAFER, Laureldale, one brother, Samuel, Centerport, and four sisters, Elmira, widow of John WAYNE, Kutztown, Mary, wife of Henry SCHELL, Temple, Katie, widow of John COLEMAN, Riverside, and Emma, wife of William KULP, Angelica.
The body was removed to the Naftzinger funeral home, Centerport, where services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. John K. Stoudt will conduct further services in Belleman's Church. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
