Abner Alden, age 75, was living in the household of Alanson Alden.Probate
On May 14, 1870, Surrogate County Court Judge, H. S. Griswold, heard the reading and filing of the petition of Abiah Warden of the Town of Conklin, Broome County, NY, one of the executors names in the last Will and Testament of Abner Alden. A citation was issued to the Alden's heirs and next of kin, requiring them to appear in the Courty on July 9, 1870, at 10:00 pm, and attend the probate of the said Will.Probate
Attendance at the probate court for Abner Alden's Will was attended at 10:00 pm on July 9, 1870. No one appeared to opposed the probate. The executor appeared and made application to have the probate adjoined on July 30, 1870.Endnotes
