It is believed that Sarah M. Wingo lived with her daughter Susan Evaline Wingo Binkley after the death of James T. Wingo.

Like many of the inhabitants of Sycamore Creek, James T. Wingo lived in a log house. It was a two storey structure located on a tributary of South Sycamore Creek. The house had two rooms downstairs separated by a dog trot and two rooms upstairs. One of the downstairs rooms was a kitchen and the other was a living room. Upstairs there was a beedroom and a schoolroom. James Wingo hired teachers to come to his house and tutor his children and it was in this upstairs room that these classes were conducted. One of these tutors was a man by the name of John Rowland. Almira Wingo was also taught in his home when her familly lived near her grandfather on South Sycamore Creek. This house which was a short distance down strem from the site of Ferrill Wingo's houe burned. Ferrill Wingo had a few objects that he had retrieved from the site of the old house. One was a small lamp wick base.
Mother and wife's father were brother and sister. Died in Joelton, Tennessee.
