On 12/15/1701 he witnessed the will of Arthur Thompson. John Cissell received 50 acres of "White Neck" from his father. In 1707 he was also in possession of 50 acres of "Beard's Choice", which in 1680 had been patented to Robert Beard and then went to his daughters.
He deceased by 10/2/1722 when his estate was appraised and valued at l 144.00.02. The administrators of his estate were Peter Browne, William Knott, James Browne and Nicholas Browne.
