Feb 21, 1754 from Richard Smith Sr of CC, planter, to Richard Smith Jr (son of the afd Richard Smith of CC, planter), for 20 shillings sterling, part of 3 tracts of land in William and Mary Parish near Pickuwaxen Church in CC, called Longest Day, Second Thought, and Picuwaxen, bounded by a tract of land called Lugar, Hungerford's land, Bennets Branch, the Run of sd Branch to the land of Robert Mastin, including such parts of the tracts of land, Second Thought and Piccawaxen as lie on the north of the Run afd, containing about 100 acres. Signed - Richd Smith Sr. Wit -Robt Yates, Arthur Lee. Mary, the wife of sd Richard Smith the Elder, relinquished her right of dower to the lands within mentioned. Recorded Jun 10, 1754.

From Richard Smith-of CC, planter, to Richard Lee of CC, Gentleman, for 50 £, that is to say, dollars at 7 shillings & 6 pence & pistoles at 27 shillings each, and for divers other good causes, part of three tracts of land in William and Mary Parish near Pickawaxon Church in [CC] .. by the names of Longest Day, second Thought, & .. last bound tree of a tract of land .. to the land of Hungerford's, thence to Bennets Branch, the land of Robert Mastin decd, then to such parts of the tracts of land, Second Thought and Pickawaxon that lie on the north of the run afd to the first beginning, containing about 100 acres. Sd part of 3 tracts of land afd was, on Feb 21, 1754, conveyed to the sd Richard Smith by his father, Richard Smith (now decd), as by deed of gift dated the day and year last afd and recorded in CC Liber A No. 3 folio 191 & 192.
