James Foster came to America in 1805 and settled in Western Pennsylvania where James was an elder in the Brush Run Church. Later James' widowed mother, his sister, and husband named Wilson, sold out in Ireland and came to America, buying 1000 acres near Beeler Station.

Thomas Clegg's will was witnessed by James Foster and John Wilson. This Wilson may be the one listed above. JMT
