PALETHORPE—SETTER.
A very pretty wedding eventuated in St. Brigid's R. C. Church on Saturday afternoon last, the contracting parties being Miss
Agnes Ellen Setter, fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Setter, Crane Street, Longreach, to Mr. Tom Palethorpe, eldest son of the late Mr. Arthur Palethorpe and Mrs Blanche of Rendle Street, Newtown, Sydney. Little Miss Irene Sullivan acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. J. Leaman, of Newcastle, filled the role of best man. The Rev. Father Jones performed the wedding ceremony. The bride, who looked very pretty, wore a dress composed of soft satin and georgette and prettily beached in silver, and a boquet of white roses and lilies together with a wreath and veil of tulle completed the toilet. The bride entered the Church on the arm of her brother, Mr. W. H. Setter, who gave her away. After the
wedding ceremony the happy couple motored to the residence of the bride's parents, in Crane Street, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of, and the usual toasts on such an occasion honored. The
wedding presents were numerous and costly.
