Bram was born in O'Connell Town (now known as Windsor), Brisbane on 9 August 1891. Eldest child of George and Isobella Weston.

Before she met Ted, Bram was in love with Stan SKINNER. Mum said she followed him to Brisbane, but he didn't reciprocate. Arty CLARKE liked Bram, but he died during the First World War.
