Thomas PERRYMAN

(3 Jun 1827 - 11 Aug 1876)

Michael Perryman says, "Thomas must have had some falling-out with the brothers. He spent almost entire (Australian) life in Ballarat, yet there's no mention of Ballarat on any papers for the other 2, who took up farms near Albury, next door to each other."

Thomas sailed from Plymouth on the 31st January 1849 on board the "Stebonheath" arriving on the 11th May 1849. He was admitted to Adelaide hospital on the 25th May 1849 with "continued fever", discharged on the 2nd July, remitted on the 14th July and discharged on the 1st October 1849. Thomas died 11th August 1876 buried New Ballarat cemetery. Funeral left his residence at Yuille Street, Ballarat. "Ballarat and District G.U.I.O.O.F. Brothers requested to attend". (Ballarat Courier 14th August 1876). Occupation on death cert. given as "groom".
