Frank Breniman
Frank P. Breniman, 82, passed away on Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, in fort Collins. Cremation will be completd. No services are planned at this time.
Frank Pierce Breniman was born July 16, 1923, in Forth Collins to Clifton Rudolph and Alpha Mae (Brackney) Breniman. Frank was a resident of Fort Collins all his life. He attended Plummer elementary School and graduated from Fort Collins High School. Frank spent his life as a dairy farmer, having bought the Breniman Farm in 1954 from his family. He married Patricia L. Mason on May 15, 1949, in Taos, N.M.
Frank served his country in the Navy during World War II. He was stationed mostly in Hawaii as a mechanical engineer working on the ariplanes. One of his greatest achievements in the military was working on President Roosevelt's plane. Frank was recently awarded a lifetime membership to the American Legion. He was also a member of the Holstein Dairy Association.
Mr. Breniman loved to spend time fishing and growing things. He enjoyed working in his garden and traveling in his RV with his wife.
Mr. Breniman is preceded in death by his parents; son, Frankie; tow brothers' and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pat Breiniman, of Fort Collins; his daughters, Pat Herman (Mike), of Seal Beach Calif., and Dian Tamura (Bob), of Anaheim, Calif.; his sister, Bonnie Kersenbrock, of Palisade; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
