(October 27, 1832 - October, 1892)

"Jane Ellen Cantrill, born October 27, 1832, at Springfield, Illinois, married Dr. Abram Lewis Kellar, April 14, 1852, at Decatur. She united early in life with the Christian church and was a devoted member and worker in the cause of Christianity and temperance all her life. She died at Sullivan, Illinois in October 1892.

"Dr. Kellar was born in Oldham County, Kentucky, December 16, 1827; son of Abram H. and Nancy Hitt Kellar. Was educated at Bacon College, Harrodsburg, Kentucky and the medical department of the University of Louisville, graduating from the latter March 1, 1851. He spent many years of his life as a physician in Decatur, Shelbyville and Sullivan, Illinois, combining with this work a good deal of preaching and teaching at the Christian church at Sullivan, whenever that church was without a pastor. He has been a great student of the Bible and was well fitted for the large amount of church work that he has done. He now lives with his children in southern California (1907)."
