These records came from obituaries and from notes compiled by my grandmother, Mrs. Darby Fox. Sarah's parents moved to Texas when she was a small child and settled near George West at a little place called Oak Ville. After she and John were married they moved their family in 1899 to Pony Creek, South of Ballinger, Texas. They were married more than sixty years.
