"Harwell John Greer lived at Newton, Texas with his mother Jessie Greer. He had a speech impairment. He was a Texas Private, USA WWII and was married twice, but no children. Harwell's (1) marriage lasted only a short time. He married (2) to Eula Simmons born 1 Sept 1910 and died after 1969. Both Harwell and Eula Greer are buried at Simmons Cemetery, Newton Co., Texas, they have a double headstone." (Betty Zoe Sisco White of Nacogdoches, TX (12/15/1994).)
