George Wilson Dillon
(February, 1834 - November 4, 1912)
George Wilson Dillon moved to Raleigh County about 1861. He and his brother Wright were the first Dillons to settle in Raleigh County. He served in the CSA Kanawha 2nd under Linkous, Co. E Reg. 36th. He fell for a younger woman, Mahala Morris. For those days this was undoubtedly a scandal. Most of the children were grown, but Emily was awarded custody of the younger children, Joseph and Granville.
