According to his World War I Draft registration in 1917 in Graham County, Arizona, he had lost his left eye, and was employed in Tucson, Arizona as an automobile mechanic. He gave his birth date as May 21, 1893, and was single. He gave his home address as 1307 Wyoming, El Paso, Texas.

1930 Los Angeles County, California census, Los Angeles: Lewis JUDIA, roomer, male, white, 33, married at age 18, Arizona, Tennessee, Texas, Erector for a Steel Building Co.; not employer at this time, unemployer #44; not a veteran of the military. (NOTE: Next is shown Verne JUDIA, his wife, she was 26, born in Minnesota, as were her parents.) Lewis Judia was rooming with Hugh MOORE, 67, born in Iowa, and his wife.

Gila County, Arizona death certificate, shows that Earl was a cafe owner, Earl's Cafe and he lived at his cafe and also died there. He had lived in Globe for 3 years. The informant was Earl Judy, Jr. of Alhambra, California. He was buried in Los Angeles, California.
