Thomas H. Cantrell

"Thomas Cantrell was born in 1831 at Cantrell Cross Roads, McMinn County, Tennessee. He was included as a member of Nancy Cantrell's household in 1850 on the U. S. census of McMinn County, Tennessee. His age was reported as 17, indicating date of birth to be in 1833. The U. S. census taken in August 1860 of Webster County, Missouri, included Robert H. as head of a household in Hazelwood Township. His age was reported as 29, indicating that he was born in 1831. His wife, Sarah E., was reported as 29, and their daughter, Emily J. age four and Mary M. 8/12 of a year.
"Thomas married Sarah E. Cook, March 19, 1855 in Missouri. They lived in Illinois for a few years, then sold their property in St. Clair County, Illinois, February 20, 1865 to Robert's (sic) mother, Nancy Cantrell. Felix Gabriel Cantrell purchased the property in St. Clair County, February 3, 1866 from his mother. Both transactions were recorded in public records of Webster County, Missouri. Thomas H. died in November 1865. Thomas K. Paul was appointed administrator December 8, 1865 of the estate.
"A marriage license was issued by Recorder of Deeds in Webster County, Missouri to Martin V. Young and Sarah E. (Cook) Cantrell, May 5, 1866. In 1870, the U. S. census of Webster County, Missouri included the name of Martin V. Young as 30 and Sarah 34 years of age. The age of their children were given as, Emily J. 15, Mary 12, James 9, Felix 6, Terrel and Sarah A. 1. The family was living in Hazelwood Township, Webster County, Missouri. Martin V. Young was born August 1, 1839 in Missouri. He died June 14 1895. martin V. was buried in Old Prospect Methodist Cemetery. All four of Thomas H.
