He was born May 17, 1869 in Arkansas, the son of Joseph Greer amd Mary Gamage. He was buried on August 5, 1952 at the De Leon Cemetery. He died of a Cerebral Hemorrhage due to Arterial Hypertension and Myacardial Insufficiency. He had never served in the armed forces nor had a social security number.
