Additional information on the family of Tod Robinson Terry from DeLeon, Texas Cemetery records; Concordia Parish, Louisiana records; Mary Eliza (Hill) Terry's application for pension; Tod R. Terry's Military record - Co. C Seibel's Batt'n Ala Inf. - Mex. Old War # 13, 973 Mex. and BL 47-160WT 76,158.

(NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: In researching the Hill Family, one of the signers of Tod and Mary E.'s marriage license was Anthony Crockett. I find an Antony Crocket in the 1870 Hinds County, Mississippi census. This could not be the Anthony Crockett who served as witness, as he was born in 1840 and Tod and Mary E. were married in 1837. I think he could have been related to the Terrys or a close friend as this Anthony Crockett is in Comanche County, Texas in 1910 ... still looking for him, or possibly his father, on other censuses.

1870 Hinds County, Mississippi census, page 445, taken 9 August 1870, Utica Post Office, Township 3, dwelling/family #217/225: Antony CROCKET, 30, m, w, Farmer, value of personal property $100, born in Mississippi, citizen; Sarah T. CROCKET, 28, f, w, Keeping House, Miss; William CROCKET, 3, m, w, Miss; Lillie CROCKET, 2, f, w, Miss; Mary, 4/12 (born in March), f, w, Miss.)
