Caroline (Hanson) Chapin (or Chaffin) was living in the Cherokee Nation in 1888, when her father's will was probated.
There was another Caroline Hanson (Karoline Hansen) that married Bernhard F. Zschiesche 4 March 1895 (Comanche County, Texas Marriage Book 2, page 354.) She was born in Løten, Norway and emigrated from Norway in July 1892. She is not the Caroline Hanson who married Charles Chapin. (This information is from Bruce Wiland).
