"Z. T. and Veturia Ann Marchbanks Jones moved their Family to Young Count, Texas (probably from Johnson County, Texas) when Hosea was 19 years old. After attending church services in their new community, a cousin asked Hosea if he found himself a girl friend. Hosea's reply was, "Yes, but I am going to have to wait until she grows up." He had chosen, Georgia, who was nine years old at The time. He waited for seven years and The wedding took place as planned, even though Georgia had become ill with yellow jaundice just before The wedding." (Wayne Irwin.)
