Stephen Bourn could not have been the Stephen Bourn who went to Grayson County, Virginia, as the following will, clearly shows. Deeds in Louisa County show he was the son of William and Elizabeth (Crump) Bourn. Will of Stephen Bourn: "In the name of God amen I, Stephen Bourne, of the county of Goochland do make and ordain this my last will and testament ... . 1st: I give unto my loving wife Catherine all my land lying in Goochland County. 2nd: I give to my son George thirty acres. 3rd: I give to my grandson Stephen ... (land). 4th: I give to my grandaughter Martha one cow. 5th: At the decease of my wife, all the stock of every kind, (etc), be equally divided between my four sons: William, Jesse, Joel, and George. I also give to my daughter Mary one feather bed. I also give to my daughter Mildred one bed." Written 6 January 1826. Proved 16 November 1829.
