William Bourn

( - Abt, 1805)

William Bourn apparently did not marry. He could not be the William who went to Grayson County, Virginia, as shown by the following will. Deeds in Louisa County show that he was the son of William and Elizabeth (Crump) Bourn.

Will of William Bourn: "I, William Bourn, being of sound mind and memory but much affected by sickness ... do hereby constitute and make this my last will and testament. First I give and bequeath unto my brother George for and during the term of his natural life ... tract of land whereon I now live lying in the county of Louisa and containing about 75 acres and after the death of said George, I give and bequeath the said tract unto my brother Lewis and his heirs forever. Item - I give unto Mildred the daughter of my brother Stephen Bourn my bed and furniture. All the rest of my estate I give to be equally divided between Mildred Bourn aforesaid and her sister Betsy." Written 9 August 1805, Louisa County. Partly proved 1807.
