George Bourn apparently did not married as the following will mentions no wife or children: "In the name of God amen, I, George Bourne, of Louisa County, being of sound mind (etc) ... I give and bequeath unto William Bourne son of my Brother Stephen Bourne the tract of land I bought of George Mallory ... I give and bequeath unto Polley Bourne, daughter of my said brother my chest ... I give and bequeath unto my said brother's five younger children namely Jesse, Joseph, Jane, Rosy, and George ... " (Will written November 1811, Book 6, page 211, Louisa County, Virginia. Proved 14 May 1821.)
