Educated at Geraldine District High School. Entered the Bank of NSW at Geraldine and in 1929 was the manager of Waimate, South Cantebury, NZ. Left with the 8th Reinforcement in Oct 1915 & was discharged on his return to New Zealand in June 1919. Enjoyed Golf
