John Robert "Jack" Howard, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday.
He had been a resident of Port Arthur since 1950. He was a Pipe Fitter and retired from Texaco after serving thirty-three years of service. He was a member of the West Groves Church of Christ.
He was survived by his wife of 56 years, Erma Fay Howard; two daughters, Jackie Howard Hlavinka and husband, Tommy, Janis Howard Minter and husband, Max; three grandchildren, Amanda Barrow Dillie and husband, Eddie, Dow Wynn IV, and John Howard Wynn; two great grandchildren, Justin Patrick Dillie, and Ashlee Gail Dillie; one brother, William Henry Howard, Sr. and one sister, Imogene Howard Gidson.
