Helen Watts, age 79, of Benton, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2010.
Mrs. Watts was born February 9, 1931 in Benton, Arkansas.
She retired from Wal-Mart in the Bakery. Mrs. Watts was a member of Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and the Benton Chapter of the Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Norine White; four brothers, Leon, Johnny, Winfred and Jimmy White; sister, Alta Lee Spann and two grandchildren, Daniel Wishard and Dillon Eckhoff.
She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Watts of Benton; two sons, David Austin Watts of Mabelvale and William Jefferson Watts of Benton; three daughters, Kathryn Ann Wishard of Bentonville, Virginia Alice McCown of Benton and Karen Sue Eckhoff of Benton; brother, Howard White of East End; sister, Patsy Ann Jenkins of Malvern; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Bro. Jason Tallent and Bro. Carl Ritchey will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Craig Hospital @ 3425 S. Clarkson St. in Englewood, Colorado 80113.
