Thomas Getzen Danner II

Thomas Getzen Danner was the 2nd born child and 2nd born son of Thomas George and Amelia Stokes Getzendanner. He has been called Thomas Getzen Danner, Junior which is incorrect since he didn't carry his father's middle name of George, but this designation provides a way of distinguishing him from his father.
Thomas Getzen Danner married Alice Ann, "Nancy", Bates on 16 Dec 1830 in Union County, South Carolina. Within the first 5 months of his marriage, this Thomas and his bride migrated to Perry County, Alabama where he purchased 80+ acres of land on which he settled.
Between the years 1832 and 1846, Alice Ann, "Nancy" birthed with Thomas 6 sons and 2 daughters, all born in Alabama.
Following the deaths of his father in 1844 and his mother in 1848, Thomas and family moved back to Union County, South Carolina and at his death some short 5 years thereafter, Thomas died and was buried in the family cemetery on the land where he grew up.
Thomas's widow, Alice Ann Nancy Bates Danner migrated with her children into Arkansas after Thomas's death.
