Mrs. Willie Mae Ward, wife of Hoyt E. Ward of 108 Cherry Ave., North Charleston, died yesterday afternoon at a local infirmary.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Park Circle Presbyterian Church, North Charleston with burial in Lebanon Cemetery, Effingham at 4:30 p.m.
Born Feb. 3, 1914, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., she was a daughter of George E. Herrin and Mrs. Maud McElroy Herrin. She was employed in the controller's office at the Naval Base.
Surviving are her husband; a son, George Hoyt Ward; her mother, Mrs. Herrin of Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Hancock of Tuscaloosa and Mrs. R.D. Davenport of Durham; four brothers, Percy L. Herrin of Tuscaloosa, Paul E. Herrin of Boston, Ala., S. Whitten Herrin of Texarkana and H. Howard Herrin of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
