Paul Herrin was the son of George Erastus Herrin and Maude Vernon McElroy. Husband of Mildred Campbell of Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Paul E. Herrin, a native of Alabama, died May 5 at the Veterans Nursing Home in Menlo Park after a long illness. He was 89.
He served in the United States Navy for 30 years and worked for Litton Industries in San Carlos until he retired. He was a member of Roller Lodge in Palo Alto and the Zamora Shrine Temple in Birmingham, Ala.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; sister, Helen Davenport of Birmingham, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial services were performed at sea by the U.S. Navy.
