Thomas William McKellep was born on May 11, 1945 to Robert Stanley and Ruth (Zosel) McKellep in Wadena. Tom passed away at his home in Wadena on Friday morning, May 27, at the age of 60 years. Tom served our country during the Vietnam War in the US Navy from 1962 to 1966. Tom married Yvonne Seeman on October 8, 1966 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Wadena. Tom was the general manager of Culligan Water in Wadena for many years. He was a member of the Knob Hill Sportsman's Club, the Water Quality Association both Minnesota and nationally, and the Deer Hunter's Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring old cars, camping, and spending time with family and his grandchildren. Tom lived in Wadena all of his life. Tom is preceded in death by his infant sister, Jane Marie. Tom is survived by his wife, Yvonne; parents, Robert Stanley and Ruth of Wadena; daughter, Michelle (Sam) Sundby of Wadena; son, Shane (Darci) of Barnum; 6 grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Charles) Lathrop of Prescott, AZ; and brothers, Phillip (Claudia) of Sun City, CA, Robert (Susan) of Sioux Falls, SD, and Scott (Bonita) of Wadena.
