Mr. Thurman Ray Holt, Jr., of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on June 9, 2017, at the age of 71. He was born May 15, 1946, in Elgin, Arkansas, the son of Thurman Ray Holt, Sr. and Elizabeth (Ensley) Holt.
Mr. Holt worked 38 years for the Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads, he served in the U. S. Army for two years. He loved to go to auctions looking for antiques and collecting Coca Cola items, which he enjoyed doing. He loved working outside in his yard and garden and especially his Tomcat. He married Margaret (Osborne) Holt on December 6, 1969 and enjoyed 47 years together.
Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Osborne) Holt, of the home; one brother Sidney Holt and wife Cathy, of Tuckerman, Arkansas; two sisters Mary Lou Chambliss and husband David, of Tuckerman, Arkansas, Ginger Pollard, of Tuckerman, Arkansas; his mother, Elizabeth (Ensley) Holt, of Tuckerman, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
