Services are pending for Flora Annie Hardesty, 84, 308 N. Third St., with arrangements being made by West Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Hardesty died Monday (July 26, 1993) at Guadalupe Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1909, in Blackwell, Nolan County, Texas. The family traded their farm in Nolan County for a small ranch in Eddy County. When she was 12, her family moved to New Mexico. She attended school at Lakewood and married Thomas Dewell Hardesty there on March 11, 1923. He preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by two sons, L.T. Hardesty of Carlsbad and Everet Hardesty of Silver City; one daughter, Joyce Buse of Eugene, Idaho; two sisters, Janie Hardesty of Aztec, N.M., and Luelle Ake of San Angelo, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

HARDESTY
Graveside services for Flora Annie Hardesty, 84, 308 N. Third St., were scheduled for 2 p.m. today in the Carlsbad Cemetery with the Rev. John Ward of Bethel Baptist Church officiating.
Mrs. Hardesty died Monday (July 26, 1993) at Guadalupe Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1909.
