Mr. Baldwin died at Onondaga in August, 1873, in his ninetieth year, having spent a long and useful life made possible by his indomitable will and energy. Many well known families descended from this man, six generations now living in Onondaga."

Thomas K. Baldwin, born in 1783 in Vermont, was living in Dorset Township, Bennington County, Vermont at the 1820 census. At the 1850 census he was in Onondaga, Ingham County, Michigan, with his wife Rachel and son Lafayette.
Or is this a different Thomas K. Baldwin in 1850?

There was another Thomas Baldwin, born 1 Nov 1873, in Dorset Township, Bennington County, Vermont. His parents were Eleazer Baldwin and Jennie. In the 1850 census he was living in Coventry, Orleans County, Vermont, with Lucinda Baldwin, Sophrona Harvey, Araleli Harvey, and Robert Harmant. He cannot be Thomas K. Baldwin.

Since Thomas K. Baldwin remained in Dorset Township, Bennington County, Vermont 1810-1840, the children born after Cyrus are probably misattributed to him. Or were there two Thomas K. Baldwins?
