Deborah Kaye Nelson was born May 27, 1957 at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Deborah left the earth to be with our Father in Heaven on August 21, 2017. Deborah was preceded in death by parents B.C. "Boots" and Josephine Greenhaw, and sister Anne Greenhaw. Deborah is survived by daughters Holly Rae and Kelly Lynne Nelson, and grandchildren Sydney Lynne, Chad Michael, Chase Nelson, Jayce Russell and Kaelynn Rae. Deborah is also survived by her older brother B.C. Greenhaw, III.Deborah was a soul full of love, laughter, and selflessness. She loved all five of her grandchildren to the moon and back, and would do anything for her two daughters. Deborah enjoyed walking her dog and spending evenings with her cat. She also loved going to local estate sales regularly with her late sister, Anne. Deborah was very proud of her country and state, and supported the 507th Air Refueling Wing at Tinker AFB. Her favorite plane was the F-4 Phantom. Deborah loved her OU Sooners, and loved watching football games. She enjoyed spending time with her brother Clint and sister-in-law Diana. Her interests included anything in or from Nature, camping, and taking road-trips. She enjoyed all kinds of history shows, and loved classic cars, as well as many genres of music. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 29, at 10am at First Baptist Church Midwest City (705 E. Rickenbacker Dr.).
