McGUIRE Lou Ann. Funeral services for Lou Ann McGuire, age 54, of Crescent, OK. will be held Thursday, May 9, 1996 at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Crescent. Rev. Marty Harkey will officiate with interment following in the Crescent Cemetery. Arrangements by Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent, Ok. Mrs. McGuire was born October 29, 1941 in the Indian Hospital at Talihina, Ok. to Henry R. and Mary Ann "Boone" Anderson. She passed away May 6, 1996 at the Baptist Medical Center, OKC. She lived in Ada and graduated from Ada High School. She attended East Central College. She moved to OKC and worked for Maryland Casualty and attended night school at O.C.U. She married James W. McGuire on Friday, April 13, 1962 at the Baptist Temple in OKC. She moved to Crescent in 1975 from OKC. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Crescent. She was also a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother and devoted daughter. She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Anderson of OKC; husband, Jim of the home, Crescent; daughters, Laura Clark and husband, Mike of Stillwater, Pam Estes and husband, Eric of Edmond; sister, Kim (Ruth) Anderson of OKC; grandchildren, Marla Ann, Joshua Michael and Robyn Dyana Clark of Stillwater and Stephanie Kate Estes of Edmond; many aunts, uncles and cousins; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; an infant daughter, Marla Ann McGuire; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Rayson Anderson and Mr. & Mrs. John F. Boone; her parents-in-law, Matthew & Rosemond McGuire. The family requests memorials in her name be made to Mission Projects Committee; First Baptist Church-Building Fund in Crescent; Scleraderma Federation for Research; Kidney Foundation or Feed The Children. Casket will be closed at the service. Friends may call at the funeral home until 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
