Mereen Adlen Holbrook

Klein, Mereen Adlen 97 of Phoenix passed away on June 13, 2011. On June 26, 1939 she married Floyd Klein in the Big Horn Mountains. They were sugar beet farmers until 1976 when they sold the farm. She was President of Daughters of the Nile and a worthy matron to Eastern Star. She was active in PEO: Chapter AH in WY and Chapter AJ in AZ. Mereen loved to cook, play bridge, and spend time with her friends and family. She was a kind woman with a generous spirit. She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd and her only child David Klein. Survivors include granddaughter Niki Mercy, great-grandsons Baylin and Gunner Mercy, and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be on Saturday July 23rd at 10:00 am at Asbury Methodist Church, 1601 W. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85015. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
