Funeral Service for Ms. Nora Lee Pemberton, 82, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Hillabee Baptist Church. Rev. Josh Sammons will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Ms. Pemberton passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Russell Medical Center. She was born on June 30, 1934 in Dadeville, Alabama to William A. Hamby and Exa N. Hamby. She was an active member of Hillabee Baptist Church a member of the Fifty plus Club at Sportplex. Mrs. Pemberton loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very faithful God loving woman and would read her bible every night. She had a servant’s heart and was a friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, LaRue Cotney and brother, Billy Hamby
