Anthony Frank Schwaller Jr.
(27 Mar 1886 - 23 May 1951)
Born March 28, 1886, in Brillion, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Schwaller, Sr., he was married in September, 1908, to Anna Jannsen at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls. Mr. Schwaller started the development of Little Elkhart Lake, building roads around the lake and a number of cottages. He owned and operated Birch Point resort since 1933. He was a member of the Holy Name society, Sheboygan County Tavernkeepers' association and the Plymouth Sportsmen's club.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Omer and Lando of Sheboygan and Merlin of Little Elkhart Lake; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Lauretta) Schoemer of Kohler: nine grandchildren; four brothers, Joe of Brillion, Ray and William of Appleton and Norbert of Green Bay; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Neumeyer, Miss Hilda and Miss Mildred of Brillion and Mrs. Marie Scheibel of Sheboygan. One son, Vincent, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a. m. at the Gentine Funeral home in Plymouth and at 9:30 a. m. at St. John the Baptist church in Plymouth with the Rev. A. J. July officiating. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. (sic)
