Joseph Jamison Bruner

OBITUARY: Services for Joe Jamison Bruner, 92, were held at 2 p.m. last Friday at University Methodist Church in Tulsa. He died July 25, 1990. A native of Angleton, Texas, he was born May 2, 1898. He had been an instructor at the Spartan School of Aeronautics until his retirement. He had also been a Sunday School teacher for more than 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Mabel, of the home; one daughter, Betty Jo Sifers; one sister, Lois Beauchamp; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Bruner; four grandchildren (one of which is Marilyn Banfield Pascoe of Catoosa); five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, under direction of Moore's Funeral Service. (Catoosa Times-Herald, August 1, 1990)
