BRUNER -- Mabel V. (Hackler), age 105, passed away Friday, September 13, 2002. She was born November 24, 1896 to Verna and Andrew Henry at Nodaway County, MO. She was a Tulsa resident since 1927, a longtime member of University United Methodist Church and was the Millinery Department Head for Froug's. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Guy Hackler on December 29, 1915 and he passed away November 3, 1956. She married Joe Bruner on February 1, 1963 and he passed away July 25, 1990. She is survived by: her son and wife, Leroy and Jo anna Hackler, Montclair, CA; 4 grandchildren, Polly Turner, Judy Lewis, Windy Wise and Mary Sue Patterson; and several great-grandchildren; and son and wife, Maurice and Robbie Hackler, Norman, OK; 2 grandchildren, Trudy K. Sickles and Randall C. Hackler; and 3 great-grandchildren, Anna E. Sickles, Garrett P. Sickles and Coral E. Hackler. Funeral service 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at the University United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK. Private Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Mausoleum, Tulsa, OK.
