LAKE ALFRED - Peggy Anne Eick of Lake Alfred passed away with her husband by her side Thurs. Sept. 9th 2010 after a short, courageous battle with cancer.
Peggy was born Sept. 30th 1935 in Williamston, MI to Eugene and Gladys Stewart. She and her husband loved traveling in the motor home with "Buddy" the miniature schnauzer. Peggy was a volunteer at Meals On Wheels and loved helping those less fortunate. She always had a supply of granola bars in the car to give away to those seeking help at traffic lights. 
Preceded in death by her parents, a sister and 4 brothers. Survivors include her husband David of 33 years, children Lisa Bender and Robert Liston, stepchildren David Eick, Brian Eick and Julie Moeller, two sisters, three brothers, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held October 2nd at 2:00 PM at Spring Haven Retirement Center, 1225 Havendale Blvd in Winter 
Haven. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Ave, Auburndale, Fl, 33823.
