Newton D. Stewart Perry Newton D. Stewart, age 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his home. He was born September 11, 1921 in Willamston, MI the son of Harold nad Gladys (Hoover) Stewart. He married Margaret Ley in 1941. They had seven children. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed. Newton was a farmer, carpenter, real estate salesman, a true jack of all trades and a master of most. Newton is survived by his dear friend; Joan Wethy, sons; Gene (Elaine) of Laingsburg, Brion (Diane) of Laingsburg, David (Debbie) of Perry and Scott (Marsha) of Perry, daughter; Martha (Ray) Henning of Greenville, MI. 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, brothers; Keith (Ada)and Allen (Edith) sister; Betty (Gene) Dudzinski, brother-in-laws David Eick and Jim Kneale, sister-in-laws Kathy Stewart and Donna Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret, sons; Barry and Ronald, brothers; Robert, Harold, Norman and Stanley, sisters; Naomi Gage, Peggy Eick and Beverly Kneale. There will be a private burial on Saturday. A memorial service will be held 11:00a.m. April 27th at the St. Mary's fellowship hall, Morrice. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial Healthcare Hospice, 1975 W. M-52, Suite 102, Owosso, MI 48867.
