Lucille I. Miller, 83, of Homer, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Miller was born February 27, 1917, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Louis H. and Bess (Byers) Folk.
She graduated from Homer High School in 1935. She was a member of the Homer Women's Monday Club and the P.T.A. She enjoyed traveling, reading and sewing. She worked as a seamstress for Falconer's in Homer.
Mrs. Miller is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Phillip "Buzz" (Kathy) Martin of Florida and Margaret Michael of Battle Creek; four sons, Chris (JoAnne) Miller of Homer, Tom (Sally) Miller of Homer, Dan (Carolyn) Miller of Marshall and Pat (Debbie) Miller of Homer; five sisters, Lorraine Yost of Florida, Glenna Fast of Coldwater, Jeanne Cutcher of Florida, Elizabeth Neufer of Albion and Charleen Streets of Coldwater; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by the father of her children, James L. Miller; a daughter, Marty Pohl; a brother, Robert Folk; and two sisters, Elousie Griffiths and Irene Luttrell.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 5, 2001 at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home in Albion. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery in Homer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Miller Family Foundation or the Homer Library.
