Lorene E. Yost, 96, of Homer passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010.
She was born in Coldwater, Michigan to Louis and Bessie Byers Folk.
Lorene graduated from Homer High School in 1929 then recieved her teaching certificate from County Normal. She taught at several Country Schools in Albion Township.
Also owned and operated an Antique Shop in Homer.
She married Ralph R. Yost in 1933, he preceded her in 1992.
Besides her husband; she was also preceded in death by her son, Maurice R. Yost; brother, Robert Folk; two sisters, Elousie Folk Griffiths; Lucy Folk Miller; parents, Louis and Bessie Byers Folk.
Survivors include her daughter, Frances Keifer and husband, Clarence "Butch"; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Clarlene Sheets; Geannie Cutcher; Lizzie Neufer; Glenna Fast.
Burial Fairview Cemetery Homer, Michigan.
