Clair Eugene Coffin, 52, 1222 22nd Street West, died Friday (Sep. 30, 1966) at his residence. He was born in Jonesville, Michigan, and came here nine years ago from Hackensack, N.J.
Coffin was an insurance salesman and former owner of the Manatee Trading Post. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eva; three daughters, Mrs. Linda M. Oudin of Syracuse, N.Y., Miss Patricia A. Coffin and Miss Theresa Coffin, both of Bradenton, two sons, Christopher John Coffin and David E. Coffin of Bradenton; two brothers, Hudean H. Byers of Coldwater, Mich., and Glen D. Byers of Bradenton; five sisters, Mrs. Bessie J. Folk of Homer, Mich., Mrs. Iva Salway of Jonesville, Mich., Mrs. Arlean Clark of Homer, Mich., Mrs. Delca Mortensen and Mrs. Clara H. Bond, both of Bradenton.
