Clara O. Bond, 74, of Bradenton, died Nov. 16 in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, with the Rev. Carl Fortner officiating. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Jonesville, Mich., Mrs. Bond came to Bradenton from Albion, Mich., in 1946. She retired from Pace Drugs in Palmetto, McCrory's Department store in Bradenton and the Manatee County school system.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Harper of Palmetto and Velma Gillis and Connie McPherson, both of Bradenton; a brother, Hudeen Byers of Coldwater, Mich.; two sisters, Delci Mortensen of Samoset and Bess Faulk of Homer, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
