Walter Alivingston Bond

Walter A. Bond, 64, of 3110 15th St. E. in Bradenton died at his residence Thursday (May 6, 1971). He was born in Madison and came to Bradenton 45 years ago from Madison County.
Mr. Bond was a bridge tender for the Seaboard Railroad and was a veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Clara O. Bond of Bradenton, three step-daughters, Mrs. Velma Gillis, Mrs. Nancy Yawn, and Mrs. Connie Simmons, all of Bradenton; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Chancey, Mrs. Sarah Douglas both of Bradenton and Mrs. Nettie D. Sayers of Ft. Pierce.
Services will be held at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home on Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Warren Ruby of the Samoset First Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will follow at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto.
