Jack Reginald Budden

Jack was a veteran of the US Army, being stationed in Germany and having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a long-time member of the B.P.O.E. Lodg es, American Legion Posts in both Lansing and Palm Bay, FL. Jack was also a long-time State of Michigan, Highway Department employee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean in 2002; sister, Jeanne Moe and grandson, John Dennis Womble. Survivors include daughters, Candy (Dennis) Womble and Kelly (Bill) Gildenstern; seven grandchildren, Sally Brooks, Jackie Womble, Mark (Daisy) Womble, Chris (Jenni) Gildenstern, Doug (Jamie) Gildenstern, Wendy (Shane) Brosier and Patrick Womble; six great grandchildren, Calum Reeves-Womble, Jessica, Amanda, William, Nathan and Rebecca Gildenstern; two brothers, Harold and Alan (Merna); two sisters, June Gordon and Jan Bud den; several nieces and nephews, including special nephew and best buddy, Ron; and friend, Ruby Zeller of Palm Bay, FL. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Gorsline- Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI, with Rev. Jannel Glennie of St. Katherines Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will be held in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, with Military Honors being provided by V.F.W. Morley S. Oates Post #701. The family will receive friends at the chapel on Tues day from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice Residence, 3411 Stoneleigh, Lansing, MI 48910 in memory of Mr. Jack R. Budden.
