Allan E. Budden of Lansing, Michigan passed away January 27, 2014 at the age of 90. Allan served in the 95th Air Force as a radio operator on a B-17 in the European Theater during WWII. He was also an amateur radio operator and used the call sign "W8WDA." Allan was an administrator for the Michigan State Police and retired after 41 years in the business. He will be greatly missed.
Allan is survived by his wife of 69 years, Merna; son, Eric; dear friends, Tina Clay and family; two sisters, Jan Budden and June Gordon; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jean Moe; and two brothers, Harold Budden and Jack Budden.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the Lansing Chapel.
