Burial
Inscription:In Memory of
Mrs. Susannah Leach,
wife of Mr. Joseph Leach,
who departed this life Dec. 31, 1800,
in the 34th year of her age.
Also Collins Leach their son,
who Died Sept. 28th, 1798,
aged 18 months.
"How loved, how valued once avails thee not. To whom related or by whom begot. A heap of dust alone remains of thee. Tis all thou art & all that we shall be. Make the extended skies your tomb. Let stars record your worth. Yet know vain mortals all must die, as natures sickliest birth. Thy saints while ages roll away. In endless fame survive. Their glories over the wings of time, greatly triumphant live."
